Thermoforming process
Thermoforming process diagram
General process: plastic sheet -- cutting -- sheet fixing -- heating -- molding -- demolition-removing edge -- finished product
[Material requirements for blister molding] :
1. Blister molding can only produce products with relatively uniform wall thickness, (generally slightly thinner at the chamfer), and can not produce plastic products with a wide difference in wall thickness
2. The wall thickness of the blister molding is generally within the range of 1 to 2mm or thinner (the thickness of the sheet used in the blister packaging for small packaging is 0.15 to 0.25mm).
3. The tensile degree of the blister molded products is subject to certain limitations, and the diameter depth ratio of the plastic container of blister molded is generally not more than 1, and in extreme cases it shall not exceed 1.5
4. The dimensional accuracy of blister molding is poor, and its relative error is generally more than 1%.
